Back in June, retired sportsman David Beckham colaunched Guild Esports (known simply as Guild), which has worked to build a UK-based professional Esports team, with electronic sports gamers already competing across Rocket League, Fifa and Valorant.

Now, while gaming might not be for you, you’ll be pleased to know that Becks has dropped a line of Guild apparel that you don’t need to be a dab hand at the Xbox to throw on. Revealed via his Instagram account today, and comprising two ultra-comfy fleece hoodies, two throw-on T-shirts and a bad-hair-day-hiding cap, the small, initial capsule collection from Guild is titled “Patch 0.0.1” and is perfect for anybody (the majority of people in the UK right now) working from home.

And, in addition to making the perfect lockdown 2.0 uniform, Guild has basically set itself up for hype-worthy success – you know, the sort that will see the garms sell out in a matter of hours.

As well as featuring Guild’s own logos, the separates come complete with graphics designed by British artist Fergus Purcell, the man who designed and lent his name to Palace Skateboards’ Tri-Ferg logo, and has also worked with Adidas and Marc Jacobs. Not bad for a first collection, right?

Of the collection, Beckham said, “I have followed Fergus’ work for a while now and I love the Guild logo and graphics he has created for us. At Guild, we’re on a mission to build a culture of excellence in everything we do, so as one of London’s most iconic streetwear designers, Fergus was the perfect fit as our creative partner.”

Granted, you might not have taken the unprecedented lockdown to become an Esports pro, but you should definitely use the downtime to rock some of this Becks-approved garb, which is available now at guildesports.com.
